About Bulk Billing
Due to the largely unchanged fee rebates for DVA (and Medicare) over the past 20 years, we no longer accept bulk billing payments for DVA or health care cards. As inflation and costs have continued to increase, they have significantly outpaced the outdated DVA / Medicare rebates, and therefore we, like many other GP clinics and specialists, have made the decision to move to gap payments. We remain committed to helping all patients with their concerns, and of course you can still obtain a Medicare rebate for your consultation.
Repeat Scripts / Referrals (Without a Consultation)
Need a repeat script or referral but do not need a consultation? Existing patients can now request a repeat script or referral without a face-to-face consultation for a small administration fee.
To request a repeat script or referral, simply email us at info@drdw.com.au with the relevant details. Dr Walker has the right to decline any request should he deem it medically inappropriate, or an in-person consultation is required. If approved, you’ll be notified and sent a payment link and your e-Script or referral via SMS or email. Please note, non-rebatable service fees and conditions apply.
